LVWA Board Meetings

The Board of Directors of the Lake Village Water Association will meet on June 9, 2020 at 12:00 pm to hold a Special Called Membership Meeting. The regular scheduled monthly meeting of the Board of Directors will be held immediately following the Special Called Membership Meeting. The meeting will be held by Zoom Webinar and can be accessed by using the meeting information below. The Association will be adopting a Resolution to recommend the borrowing of funds to finance the Contract 14 Distribution System Improvement Project. The project consists of the replacement of 10.6 miles of the original water distribution system built in the 1970’s which serves a large number of water customers. The age and deterioration of the mains have contributed to increased maintenance costs, increased water loss and periodic changes in service. The Association has developed a project that will reduce water loss, lower
maintenance costs and improve the reliability of the water service to our customers. The project will directly affect customers residing on US 127, Bellows Mill Road, Montgomery Lane, Burgin Road, South Buster Pike, Moores Lane and Wildwood Road. The project will be funded by a USDA, Rural Development loan in the amount of $2,089,290.
